The HD-Toys Hot shoe Replacement is a quick fix for anyone that has had their plastic Hotshoe mount Break off from the Rode Video Mic. All that is required is the removel (with small phillips screwdriver ) the defective mount and replaced with the all metal mount , simply screw it into the 1/4 20 mount on the bottom of the shock mount and continue using this great Microphone
